One has to drive carefully on the loose gravel grounds with no barricades on the sides to reach the tip of the spur from where seen towards the Eastwards is the great cultural & historic city of Wai with the zigzag curves of the Pasarni Ghat. Going down the Radtondi Ghat or the Fitzgerald Ghat and up the Dhorpia, lies the historical Fort of Pratapgad, built by the great Maratha Warrior Chattrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Half way up the Dhorpia hill is the grave of the Bijapur Sultanate warrior Afzal Khan.
